We are a small local family farm located just outside of Greenville, North Carolina, tending the fields here since 1938. Before transitioning our operation exclusively to beef cattle eight years ago, we raised all sorts of livestock - sheep, hogs, goats, just about everything except llamas. Now with our sole focus on beef, we aim for the best of the simple life, for both cows and people. For us, the "simple life" philosophy means letting the cows roam and be carefree, not bothering them with processed feed, pesticides, vaccines, or hormones. For you, this means getting simple, all-natural beef without worrying about mysterious additives and contiminants in your food.
The man in charge, Taylor has been farming all his life, mostly here on Greenhill Farm. A jolly soul, he loves meeting new people and bringing them the highest quality local beef around. He takes great pride in his herd and considers it a privilege and a blessing to have the opportunity to spend his days working on the farm.
The oldest son and middle of the three Mosier children, Taylor is a graduate of North Carolina State University who currently lives in Raleigh but does what he can to help on the farm. Whether it's helping repair broken water lines, mending fences, or building this website, Taylor is always happy to contribute and only wishes he had more time to spend on the farm.
Justine brings her winning personality and bright joy to our team! As our creative director, Justine works on developing vibrant ideas to our marketing efforts, specifically the future look of this website, our branding, and future product offerings. We're excited to see what she comes up with!
Otto brings an excited energy to work everyday! While our cattle are usually well-behaved, Otto is quick to step up if any of them get out of line - or if they just get a little confused about which pasture they're moving to. He wakes up ready to go - this isn't a job, it's his true passion!
